The earliest version of AutoCAD was the Draw File Viewer, released in 1982. This is the first version of AutoCAD to use a mouse, which was originally the control input device for its drawing commands.

The first commercial CAD application for microcomputers, AutoCAD 1, was released in 1983, and introduced several features that continue to be a standard feature in most modern CAD applications, such as live editing, object selection, object snap, and dynamic drawing.

AutoCAD 2 was released in 1987 and introduced client-server technology. With this technology, CAD users could have CAD applications running on a mainframe computer (host) and graphics terminals (clients) connected by a network. The first time a user connected to the host, the host gave the user a new drawing name and a new drawing file, and that new drawing would be open at the user’s graphics terminal.

AutoCAD 2 also introduced CAD applications for microcomputers running on the Microsoft Windows operating system. AutoCAD 2.5 was released in 1992, and introduced advanced technology, such as object tracking, which can automatically track the shape of an object over time, and multiple cursors, which can allow multiple people to work on the same file simultaneously.

AutoCAD 2.5 continued to use Microsoft Windows technology and had a 32-bit operating system. AutoCAD 3.0 was released in 1996, which introduced the Windows Interface Manager (WIM) for running AutoCAD on the Windows 95 operating system.

The next version of AutoCAD, AutoCAD 2.5, was not compatible with Windows 95, so the operating system was changed to Windows NT. AutoCAD 2.6 was released in 1997, and continued to use the Windows NT operating system.

In 1998, AutoCAD 2.6 introduced the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) technology, which allows users to view any drawing created in AutoCAD, regardless of the operating system or graphics system. This was possible because AutoCAD 2.6 was the first version of AutoCAD to support the Internet and World Wide Web (WWW) technology.

AutoCAD 2.7 was released in 1998, which continued to use the Windows NT operating system. AutoCAD 2.7 introduced “Raster to Vector,” a feature that enables users to convert raster

Day-night differences in the expression of the NMDA receptor in the rat ventrolateral thalamus.
The dorsal lateral geniculate nucleus (dLGN) is a visual thalamic relay nucleus that relays visual information from the retina to the superior colliculus and visual cortex. The subthalamic nucleus (STN) of the basal ganglia also relays visual information from the retina to visual cortex and can be excited by the basal ganglia via the thalamus. While visual information is transmitted to the cortex by the dLGN, the thalamic reticular nucleus (Rt) may regulate the transfer of visual information from the thalamus to the cortex. The Rt consists of GABAergic neurons that inhibit the STN, and glutamatergic neurons that connect the STN to the dLGN. In the present study, we investigated the expression of N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) receptors, which are located on the glutamatergic synapses between the Rt and dLGN, using immunohistochemistry in rats. We examined the number of neurons expressing each of the NMDA receptor subtypes, NMDAR1, NMDAR2A and NMDAR2B, in the dLGN and Rt at day and night, respectively. In the dLGN at day, NMDAR2A- and NMDAR2B-expressing neurons were significantly more abundant than NMDAR1-expressing neurons. In the dLGN at night, the number of NMDAR2A-expressing neurons was significantly lower than at day, whereas the number of NMDAR2B-expressing neurons did not differ between day and night. In the Rt, there was no significant difference in the number of NMDAR1-expressing neurons between day and night, whereas the number of NMDAR2A- and NMDAR2B-expressing neurons did not differ between day and night. These results indicate that the expression of the
