Clickie Free Download is a very small and very easy to use tool. You can quickly copy the file or folder name or open a DOS command prompt in the folder you have selected with a right click in Windows Explorer.

Features:

Close all: When you select this option, Clickie will close all the windows that are open at the time of selection.
Reset Windows Explorer settings: If you encounter any unwanted Windows Explorer setting changes while using Clickie, you can restore them to their original state using this option.
Installation:
￭ Install: Install Clickie from Microsoft’s Installation page.
￭ Run: Run Clickie to select the files you want to work with. Click in the workspace and drag the files to Clickie’s window.
￭ Cancel: Press the ESC key to cancel the selection process.
￭ Copy Path Name: After you have selected the files you want to work with, drag the files to the folder where you want to save the path. Click in the workspace and release the mouse button.
￭ Settings: After Clickie has opened a new window, click in the Settings tab to select settings you want to apply.

What’s New in the?
I created this little tool, because the right click in Windows Explorer is rarely used. That’s why I thought, that it could be useful to have a menu in the explorer context menu to copy the path name to the clipboard.
My tool is designed as a Windows Service. It can be used from Windows Explorer or any other application that wants to use a right click menu.
I only use the standard right click menu, and am not interested in using any add-on software to enhance the Windows Explorer right click menu.
Moreover, I’m not interested in a “Download link for…” dialog to let me know how to get the program I’m interested in. I use the internet and I want to get the program that I need (probably after reading an e-mail or two) as soon as I find it.
I also don’t use a Help or about dialog.
Since Windows Explorer is an object oriented program, I’m using the property Page.Parent, which is a “normal” folder.
My Tool is also designed to use the DLLs found at the download link at the bottom of this page.

To use my tool:
1) Unzip Clickie.zip into a folder (e.g. Clickie.3)
2) Start Windows Explorer and select the.NET Framework folder (Start menu -> Programs -> Microsoft.NET Framework)
3) In the right click menu of Windows Explorer, select the menu item “Clickie” (File -> Options -> Tools tab -> Clickie menu)
