1. Gmail Auto-Deliver System
The first and foremost thing that you must know about the Gmail system is that it involves a process known as auto-delivery. This is a result of a past KnujOn Campaign, that worked to shut down spam on a network-wide basis. KnujOn is free of charge, and it consumes around one CPU-cycle every 4 weeks (or sooner, depending on the amount of spam sent by your Spam-mailbox).
Advanced KnujOn Settings:
There are many different types of mail (forwards, attachments, etc..) and different settings in KnujOn to control which types of message to handle. If you don’t want KnujOn to try to handle email that has attachments of any type, in the Advanced Tab, just untick the box titled “Handle attachments”.
To properly test the effectiveness of KnujOn, you should use Spam from a website that has advertisements and/or offers free stuff in exchange for email addresses (we use bit.ly), this ensures that the Bulk email is not from an organisation and does not get caught up with the spam from Spam-sites. To put an end to this method of spam, KnujOn adds the domains of sites that are “known” spammers to a system called a “SPAM-Deleted List” and requests that the hosts delete the email from their servers. Do NOT use your own domains if you don’t want a particular domain added to the list. If you are a subscriber to the “Unsolicited Email” list at the CAN-SPAM Act [ website, you are already on the system that KnujOn uses.
How does KnujOn work:
KnujOn is activated when a Spam mail is delivered to Thunderbird, the Spam Mail will then be displayed to the user. If the user clicks the “Mark As Junk” button, the Thunderbird will then send a request to the Thunderbird server to mark the entire message as Junk. The junk mail will then be displayed in the user’s Junk mail folder and displayed in the small view panel. The user will then also have the option to archive the message. This way, the user will have the opportunity to decide whether or not they are sending the message

If you are familiar with BlueFrog (now extinct), this is NOT the same approach, andKnujOn will not offer list-cleaning software to spammers. so you may not see such a dramatic reduction in spam, but you are also safer – your address is not exposed in any way.
